I forgot all about Anime Mid Atlantic doing a Battle of the Greats this year. (Mostly because for the time in years, I didn’t submit anything to their regular AMV contest this year.)

Anyways, they did this cool thing where all the winners from the past ten years went up against each other.

Still Love was the runner up in romance, and Opposites Attract was runner up in upbeat ^_^

Happy to announce I managed to finish two videos for Anime Weekend Atlanta’s Pro contest. I’ll be sending them to Nan Desu Kon as well. Hoping they make the finals as I’ll be in attendance and it’s always great to catch the audience’s reaction.

I’ll probably be uploading them in September, bit of a wait, but eh. I have another I might try to crank out using Skip Beat, we’ll see though, I’m a bit burn out from the mad rush.

Been working on a new video for Anime Weekend Atlanta’s PRO contest. I’m happy to announce, after two failed video ideas, this one is nearing completion! Timeline is full and tweaked, all that’s left is to add some effects ^_^ Hooray for new video. Now, for anyone reading this, the video won’t be made available until September (sorry.) But I think it’s a good one, so look forward to it ^_^ I’ll also be sending it to Nan Desu Kan in Denver and I’m happy to announce I’ll be in attendance this year with some editing friends from CornDogVidVids and Visualized Nightmare Studios (CDVV and VNS respectively).

If I can, I’m going to power edit a second, yet simpler video. Already have the clips, but the deadline is Friday…. EEEP. Wish me luck ^^

Wow, so the release of Dirty Soul is likely not going to happen. I was nearly finished it again and then my project files decided to up and crash. Sorry, but I’m not really interested at this time to go back and rebuild it. =/

I am however excited to start some new projects. I have a Romeo and Juliet vid, a Skip Beat vid and perhaps a fun Sailor Moon video to work on this year … if not more. I’ve found a lot of cool songs I want to edit to.

In other news Opposites Attract made it into the finals in both the Viewer’s Choice Awards and the Judge’s Choice Awards over at AMV.org. Thanks for the nominations people

Apparently I snagged Most Improved Editor in the JCAs. ^_^ The comments indicate people hope I start exploring new genres … we shall seeeeeeeeee…

On the gaming front I’ve been enjoying NeoSteam, beat Bayonetta (freaking amazing) and have started playing FFXIII. Glorious glorious times.

Have a sexy new 24″ monitor. Editing is much easier on the eyes now. Dirty Soul reconstruction is moving along.

Very distracted by games right now. Playing a lot of L4D2 and picked up lotsa new games with Steam’s holiday sale \o/ Hooray for $5 games.

I’m also pretty addicted to Plants vs. Zombies. Mwhahaha.

I want to try to enter Sakura Con this year and have some fun ideas planned. Just need to actually edit. Heh.

Have a couple epic videos planned. I’ve been super sidetracked recently though since I was helping a friend cut a 12-minute video for her homework (12 minutes, geez, who does that?) and I bought new super mario bros :X

Just got back from seeing Dragonette! This is the first time I’ve seen them live. They are AWESOME. If you remotely like the videos I’ve made with them and they play near you. GO SEE THEM. They are sooo worth it <3 <3
